Parent Information

Welcome to the Manly Warringah Cricket Coaching School vacation clinic. For the past 30 years we have committed ourselves to providing children with the best possible cricketing experience, where new friends can be made and new things learned, all in a safe and caring environment.

The program

Our vacation clinic runs for 3 days in the Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter holidays. Over the 3 days, participants undertake a combination of nets sessions, skill drills and modified games. The final day concludes with our popular “Super Eights” Games Day.

Pick up/drop off

Weldon Oval.

Drop off and pick up is at the clubhouse at the Southern end of Weldon Oval. The best point of entry is the carpark off Stirgess Ave Curl Curl.

Wet days

In the event of inclement weather, please report to Weldon Oval. Staff members will be present at the gate to redirect you to the wet weather venues if necessary. A decision on transferring to our wet weather venues, if required, will be made at 8.30am.

A revised program of skill drills and modified games is undertaken at our wet weather venues.

If it rains unexpectedly during the day, we have access to the dressing rooms and club house at Weldon to keep the children out of the weather.

Full week attendees also receive  a “Helpful Hints” Certificate to assist them to improve their game and a t-shirt. Major prizes are also presented. These prizes do not necessarily go to the best cricketers, but those that exhibit values of sportsmanship and fair play.
